Consultancy for the preparation of Project Completion Evaluation Report for Government of Maldives

The Government of the Republic of Maldives through the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE) is implementing Climate Change Adaptation Project (CCAP) administered by the World Bank, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this project to payments under the contract for the services of Preparation of Project Completion Evaluation Report for the Government of Maldives.

We did not receive a sufficient response to Reference No.: (IUL) 438/438/2018/75 advertisement. And therefore, we wish to re- invite interested eligible consultants to provide the services of Preparation of Project Completion Evaluation Report for the Government of Maldives.

The objective of this assignment is to evaluate the overall project design and implementation status and process.

Key qualifications of the consultant are:

         i.            The Consultant should have relevant operational experience and qualifications to undertake the impact assessment and prepare a comprehensive report based on the assessment.

        ii.            The consultant should be experienced in environment and development related project performance monitoring and evaluation in small island states, data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, experience in PRA techniques and conducting beneficiary surveys.

The Ministry of Environment and Energy now invites interested eligible individuals to submit their Expressions of Interest (EoI). Interested individuals must provide their CV with information demonstrating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, etc.) covering the Key Qualifications listed above.

A candidate will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011, Revised July 2014.

This consultancy is for a period of 08 weeks and the successful individual must be available to commence the assignment in April 2018.
