REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received Credit from Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) and International Renewable Energy Association (IRENA) and the Government of the Republic of Maldives for the establishment of a Regional Waste Management System for Zone 6 and 7 and intends to procure the services of a consultancy (firm or individual(s)) to develop the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for the establishment of a Regional Waste Management System for Zone 6 and 7 (Construction and Operations), administered by the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE).

The Government of Maldives, represented by Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE), now invites interested eligible parties to submit their proposals according to the Request for Proposals (RFP). Interested parties must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignment, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, availability of required tools and equipment, etc.).  Parties may associate to enhance their qualifications.

The RFP document, for the consulting services will be available on the Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv and also can be directly downloaded from this announcement.

Interested consultants may obtain further information by requesting in writing to the address below no later than 1200 hours of 4^th January 2018.

The proposals are expected to be submitted to the address by 1300 hours local time on 8^th January 2018, Monday in the presence of the representative of the bidders. Electronic submission is not permitted. Late proposals will be rejected. Proposals will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to be present at the address below at the time of proposal opening.
