Internet Service Provider

 

Fenaka Corporation currently handles 152 branches throughout Maldives. And we desire to have a Total Connectivity Solution which allows us to connect to all the branches and share our intranet seamlessly.

This document highlights the Technical Aspects and Requirements for the Service Provider for a term of 03 (three) years.

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Connectivity should be 24/7
  2. Bandwidth (Head Office / Male’):
    1. Download 50MBps
    2. Upload 50MBps
    3. Distribution Ratio 1:1
    4. Unlimited Data
    5. Should not be shared with any other party.
  3. Bandwidth (Remote Locations)
    1. Download 4 ~ 6 MBps
    2. Upload 4 ~ 6 MBps
    3. Unlimited Data
  4. Failover connection should be provided and activated when primary connection fails.
  5. Connection can be provided through Lease line, Fiber Optic, Wireless or any other form or technology which does not limit our primary bandwidth requirement.
  6. A Service Agreement can be made with the Service Provider for the mentioned period, where Service Provider can lease charge. Once Agreement is terminated/expired or we decide not to extend, the equipment can be claimed back by the Service Provider.
    1. Service Provider should provide and setup the End Points in other branches.
    2. Bandwidth Management, User Management, Content Filtering and Firewall server should be provided.
    3. Service Provider should bear the costs to any damaged or service enhancement for the leased equipment.
    4. Additional 18 remote/mobile devices should be available to be used at multiple locations within the country. These will be used by our technical teams who are usually travelling.
  7. A Technical Focal point should be provided by the Service Provider to provide technical assistance when required.
  8. Any planned service interruptions must be informed beforehand.
  9. Below is a list branches with number of connection nodes.
    1. 232 Connections for Branches.
    2. 18 Connections for Travelling Purposes (within the Country)

BID INFORMATION

 

  • Quotation shall indicate the following;

 

a)      Price

  • Quotation shall indicate the unit price, total price for each item and total price of the quotation. The quotation should separately indicate additional charges such as taxes.

 

b)      Technical Specifications

  • All the relevant information shall be given to enable technical evaluation of the proposal.

 

c)       Duration

  • The completion period shall be stated in ‘days’.

 

d)      Credit Period

  • The credit period shall be stated in ‘days’.
  • Fenaka Corporation Limited is unable to provide an advance of more than 15% of the entire project.

 

e)      Quotation validity should be a minimum of 60 days from the date of quotation opening.

 

Note: It is in Fenaka Corporation Limited’s discretion to reject/cancel any quotation which does not fulfil or comply the above terms.

Please make sure the items are properly packaged and labelled separately as specifications given above. In case the items do not meet the required standards, they will be rejected / returned.

 

Evaluation Criteria

- Proposal Cost: 60 points

  • (Lowest proposed price / Proposed price) x 60

- Completion Period: 30 points

  • (Lowest delivery period / Proposed delivery period) x 30 points

- Experience: 10 points
