Work Setting:

PhD in Education or related field

A minimum of 10 years of work experience in academia with active background in research

Educational Back Ground: 

Successful candidate will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee of MVR 10,000.

The individual for this position will be hired, initially for a period of Twelve (12) months on halftime basis and may be extended for a further period, based on need and performance.

Conduct necessary research to support the development of an appropriate technology enhanced learning strategy that targets key priorities of the strategic development plan of the University in collaboration with identified staff from Centre for Open Learning (COL)

Develop a strategy for technology enhanced teaching and learning at MNU

Develop a plan to improve the active engagement of staff and students with technology enhanced learning strategy in COL and across the University

Conduct a research workshop each semester

Conduct a research workshop for students/ staff each semester on areas of relevance including the importance of research in academia and thesis writing

Provide guidance in research projects and publications to staff and students

Supervise Masters/PhD students

Review Higher Degrees Guidelines

Provide guidance to the University Research Centre in the development of internal and external research collaborations

Develop a Research Collaboration Strategy

Develop a Plan for International Research Collaboration with partner institutions
