Reference is made to the Tax Ruling TR-2016/A10 (Mandatory online filing of general sector GST return) issued on 29 December 2016.

Pursuant to the aforementioned Tax Ruling, GST registered persons whose annual turnover is more than or equal to MVR 20 million are required to file their GST Returns for General Goods and Services (MIRA 205) via MIRAconnect for taxable periods beginning on or after 1 January 2017.

Taxpayers who are not registered for MIRAconnect will be automatically registered for MIRAconnect and the account information will be sent to their registered e-mail addresses.
