Consultancy Services to develop a Master Plan for ihavan Integrated Project
Reference is made to the call for proposal by the Ministry of Economic Development dated 15 August 2016, seeking consultancy services to develop a detailed master plan for ihavan Integrated Project. The deadline to submit proposals has been extended from 24 August to 1 September 2016.
ihavan Integrated Project envisages the development of a modern, medium-sized, and state-of-the-art entrepot, ideally-positioned on the East-West route of the Indian Ocean, complemented by adjacent businesses in the fields of warehousing, packaging, processing, manufacturing, international cruise facilities, airport development as well as residential and commercial real estate. The project is located at the northern-most atoll of the Maldives (Ihavandhippolhu ), and the Government places utmost priority to commence reclamation of ihavan by December 2016.
Interested parties are requested to submit their proposals according to the guidelines noted in the Terms of Reference included as part of this Call for Proposals. The Terms of reference will be available on our website www.trade.gov.mv
The Terms of Reference will also provide details on the scope of services sought, location of the project and the expected timeline for delivery of the services.
