INVITATION FOR BIDS

Supply and Delivery of 15 Cars and 1 Executive Van

1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following lots.

Bidders have the option to bid for any one or both the lots.

Lot 1 – Supply and Delivery of 15 Cars	MVR 100,000/-
Lot 2 – Supply and Delivery of 1 Executive Van	MVR 30,000/-

2. Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document.

3. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1500/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa Thousand Five Hundred) from 8^th August 2016 to 18^th August 2016 between 8:30hrs and 13:30hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

4. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security for each of the project for the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation. The Bid security shall be valid for 118 days from the date of bid opening. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price.

5. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 17^th August 2016 at 10:00 hrs Maldivian time at the Public Procurement Section Meeting Room of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in clause 7 of this invitation for bids on or before 1330 Hours Maldivian Time on Thursday, 18^th August 2016.

6. Bids shall be valid for a period of 91 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified below in Clause 7 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 10:00 hours Maldivian time on 25^th August 2016, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
