Where applicable, the provisions of this Addendum shall supersede the corresponding provisions of the original Bidding Documents.

Clarification 3:

Clarifications

Response

1. ROV weight – less than 35 kg Please confirm whether the 35 kg limit applies to: * The basic ROV only, or

*The fully equipped ROV including stereo cameras, DVL, USBL equipment, sensors and manipulator.

The 35kg weight is the maximum weight for the basic ROV that the supplier provides under this procurement

2. Payload – more than 5 kg Please confirm whether more than 5 kg payload is a mandatory requirement. Also, please advise what equipment weight should be considered as payload.

Yes, the more than 5 kg payload is a mandatory requirement. ROV should be able to lift at least 5 kg above its weight. Equipment considered as payload: Stereo camera pair, lights for the stereo cameras, manipulator arm if equipped

3. Stereo camera systems: The specification mentions an independent forward-looking and downward-looking stereo camera system.

Please confirm: * Will these stereo camera systems be supplied by the customer? * Or should they be included in our quotation? * If supplied by the customer, please provide model, dimensions, weight, power supply and communication interface.

Stereo camera systems for data collection are a separate procurement. The ROV should just be able to accommodate/mount the standalone stereo system.

4. Current capability – more than 2 knots Please clarify whether the requirement means: * maximum ROV travelling speed greater than 2 knots, or * the ROV must maintain position and perform controlled operations in a 2-knot water current. These are technically very different requirements, especially at 300 m depth due to tether drag.

The ROV must maintain position and perform controlled operations in a 2 knot or stronger water current. If this can be guaranteed at shallow depths, with limited tether drag, that will be acceptable.

5. TMS / clump weight Please clarify whether a full Tether Management System is required, or whether a simple clump weight / depressor arrangement is acceptable. A full TMS significantly changes the complete system, handling equipment and launch/recovery requirements.

Simple clump weigh/depressor is acceptable. Not a full TMS requiring a LARS.

6. Integrated navigation / predetermined course** Please clarify what level of automatic navigation is required. Do you require: *automatic depth and heading control, * station keeping, * automatic movement between predefined waypoints, * or a complete autonomous transect following function? Please also advise the required positioning accuracy.

Requires the following; - automatic depth and heading control, - station keeping, - automatic movement between predefined waypoints, - Position Accuracy:

7. DVL and USBL Please confirm whether both DVL and USBL are mandatory parts of the supplied system. If yes, are there any preferred manufacturers or required positioning/navigation accuracy?

Yes, DVL and USBL are mandatory parts of the supplied system. No preferred manufacturers.

8. Camera tilt ±180° The specification states a camera tilt range of ±180° and also states that the camera should move from vertical down to vertical up.

These two requirements are not the same. A range of ±180° means 360° total rotation, i.e. the camera can make a complete rotation around its tilt axis.

To move from vertical down to vertical up, only 180° total travel is required, which is equivalent to approximately ±90° from the horizontal position. Please confirm which requirement is intended.

The requirement is a 90° up to 90° down (±90°).

9. Manipulator The manipulator is described as optional in some parts of the specification. Please confirm whether we should: * include the manipulator in the main system price, or * quote it separately as an option.

Include the manipulator separately int the quotation

10. Tether length for 300 m operational depth, please confirm the required tether length. Normally, the tether should be longer than the maximum operating depth.

350 m tether will be sufficient.

Finally, please confirm whether all requirements marked in these specification are **mandatory pass/fail requirements**, or whether technically equivalent solutions and deviations can be accepted during bid evaluation.

The mandatory requirements are stated as “must have” / “should have” in the additional details of the specifications sheet. However technically equivalent solutions and deviations can be considered.

Bid submission deadline remains unchanged. (On or before - Date: 22nd October 2026, Time: 11:00hrs).

All provisions of the original Bidding Documents that have not been amended or modified through the issued Addendum shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
