Job Responsibilities

• Identify and collect environmental, social, and governance data from internal and external sources and develop data-input and validation methodologies with cross-functional teams
• Support the preparation of regular and ad-hoc ESG performance reports and the Annual Sustainability/ESG Report & presentations aligned with GRI, MSRF, and IFRS S1 & S2, ensuring data integrity and readiness
• Track and document progress against ESG targets and the sustainability commitments register, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention
• Support carbon accounting, environmental compliance, and maintenance of the Sustainability Risk Register, including climate, regulatory, and supply-chain risks
• Assist with vendor ESG due diligence and supply-chain sustainability assessments
• Support internal ESG awareness campaigns, employee engagement, and external stakeholder/training submissions
• Stay informed about new ESG regulations and reporting requirements and communicate implications to the supervisor
• Support the digitization of ESG data and reporting processes
• Monitor the department's compliance with environmental laws, regulations, permits, and internal policies
• Coordinate environmental inspections, audits, and corrective action plans
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
• Support the implementation of ESG governance frameworks, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or a related field

Preferred Requirements

• Relevant ESG, HSE, EI certificate or environmental certifications will be an added advantage
• 1 to 2 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, environmental management, HSE, compliance, or a related field will be an added advantage
• Basic understanding of ESG principles and sustainability practices
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Experience liaising with regulatory authorities, customers, or external stakeholders is preferred
