Position Type: This position will initially be offered on a two-year contract basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Software Engineering or related field of technology or professional qualification in related field.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in Enterprise-level application development on a project of enterprise solutions.
• Proficient in front end development technologies.
• Knowledge and experience in software testing.
• Technical application design skills, interpreting functional requirements into technical design for editorial tools and frontend web applications.
• Proficiency in User Interface and User Experience design.
• Experience in overseeing executions of all phases of software implementation.
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Analytic thinking leadership and problem-solving skills.
• A team player, able to work independently and adhere to tight reporting deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and high-performing software systems based on business and technical requirements.
• Monitor applications, investigate reported issues and implement enhancements, maintenance and defect corrections.
• Develop and execute unit testing, system testing and validation procedures while maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, internal departments and vendors on system design, implementation, deployment and ongoing support.
• Provide user training, emergency on-call support.
