 Post:

 Quantity Surveyor

 Educational Qualification and Experience:

 - Degree in a relevant field with minimum two (2) years of experience.

 - Experience will be considered only upon submission of an official reference letter explicitly stating the duration of employment.

 

 Additional Skills & Specifications:

 - Should be able to provide post-occupancy advice, facilities management services and life cycle costing advice.

 - Direct work experience in project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.

 - Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

 - Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.

 - Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

 - Strong familiarity with project management software and technical know-how of the projects.

 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 - Develop tentative and accurate cost estimates for projects, accounting for materials, labor and other relevant expenses.

 - Produce detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), tailored to specific project requirements for both in-house and outsourced projects.

 - Assist and advise during procurement process and reconciliation of material for the in-house projects.

 - Provide cost insights to ensure the procurement of materials aligns with the project budget and objectives.

 - Conduct cost comparisons and evaluations to assess the financial implications and feasibility of different options or strategies during the project planning and formulation stage.

 - Analyze current market rates and create rate breakdowns to support project budgeting and cost planning.

 - Assess and evaluate bids/proposals from service providers, providing technical input to the procurement department for the selection of contractors or consultants if required.

 - Continuously refine cost estimation techniques and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

 - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.

 - Formulate and revise related policies and procedures to enhance the section.

 Site  Engineer

 Salary Range:

 Educational Qualification and Experience:

 - Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field with minimum six (8) years of site experience in a relevant field; OR

 -  Master’s degree in civil engineering or relevant field with minimum Four (6) years of site experience in a relevant field.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 - Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities on site for assigned MPL projects.

 - Inspect works, verify setting out, levels, dimensions, and placements against approved drawings and specifications.

 - Confirm adherence to construction specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards by monitoring project progress and inspecting the construction site.

 - Examine construction materials on site and give approval or rejection as required, including witnessing sampling and testing.

 - Verify quantities of executed work to support interim payment certification and record measurements.

 - Maintain daily site records, inspection reports, photographs, and progress documentation.

 - Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals from the Contractor and provide comments.

 - Coordinate and communicate with the Contractor, MPL project team, and other internal and external stakeholders to successfully complete the given tasks/projects.

 - Identify defects, non-conformities, and emerging problems/deficiencies, and make recommendations or present solutions.

 - Attend site meetings and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for MPL’s management.

 - Ensure proper documentation and quality control standards are always followed.

 Architect

Basic Salary:

 - MVR 7,600

Other Allowances:

 - Monthly Fixed Allowance MVR 4,650 (Monthly)

 - Service Allowance MVR 80 (per day of attendance)

 - Risk Allowance MVR 50 (per day of attendance)

 - Skill in Demand Allowance MVR 9,000  (Monthly)

 

 Educational Qualification and Experience:

 - Master’s degree in architecture or relevant area.

 - Minimum 2 years of experience

 - Bachelor’s degree in architecture or relevant area.

 - Minimum 5 years of experience.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 - Develop building concepts and space planning.

 - Design administration and operational facilities.

 - Design control centres, gatehouses and security buildings.

 - Develop warehouse and workshop layouts.

 - Design staff, training and customer facilities.

 - Prepare floor plans, elevations and sections.

 - Develop building envelopes and material schedules.

 - Coordinate accessibility and wayfinding requirements.

 - Incorporate climate-responsive and sustainable design principles.

 Basic Salary:

 Educational Qualification and Experience:

 - Master’s degree in economics, Finance or relevant area.

 - Minimum 4 years of experience

 OR

 - Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance or relevant area.

 - Minimum 6 years of experience.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 - Prepare research papers to ensure that the company's main income-related activities and industries are optimized for further expansion, business benefits and the use of various means of doing business.

 - Provide relevant stakeholders with information in documents and presentations on the company's core income-related activities and industries, their business benefits and the optimal use of various resources.

 - Prepare annual business plans under the guidance of the management after identifying and conducting research in areas needed to further expand the business of the company and its subsidiaries.

 - Communicate with relevant government agencies regarding the development of the company.

 - Prepare business plans annually after identifying and conducting research in areas where the company and its subsidiaries need to further expand their business.

 - Preparation of annual reports, quarterly reports, business cases, capital project appraisals, and other technical documents for internal purposes and for the public.

 - Model the working of various internal functions of the company, understand the impact of changes in the economic environment on the company's business and report to management.

 - Compile and analyze company statistics and submit them to management periodically.
