Provision of Internationally Recognised Certification for the Directors Training Programme

1. Background and Objective

The Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA), through the Institute of Corporate Directors and Secretaries (ICDS), intends to establish a three-year partnership with an organisation capable of providing internationally recognised certification for participants of the Directors Training Programme (DTP). The goal is to elevate the DTP's international standing by ensuring its content, training, and assessment standards meet global benchmarks.

2. Scope

The selected partner will be expected to:

1. Collaborate to review, refine, and align the DTP curriculum and assessment criteria with international standards.

2. Provide internationally recognised certification for DTP graduates.

    

3. Invitation for Expression of Interest

The CMDA now invites interested eligible organisations to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI). The purpose of this EOI is to identify and shortlist capable organisations.

Interested organisations must provide a profile demonstrating their capacity and experience to provide the required services, including:

1. Relevant experience in professional training and certification.

2. Evidence of internationally recognised certification capabilities.

3. Information on similar past assignments.

4. Qualifications of key personnel/facilitators.

5. Relevant institutional accreditation or professional recognition.

    

4. Procurement Process

This is a two-stage procurement process:

• Stage 1 (Current): Evaluation of Expressions of Interest to shortlist capable organisations based on the criteria above.

• Stage 2: Shortlisted organisations will be invited to submit detailed Technical and Financial Proposals (Request for Proposal).

5. Submission Details

    

Detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) can be accessed via the CMDA website. 

Expressions of Interest must be emailed to [email protected] no later than 23:59:59pm on 3rd September 2026.

6. Clarification of Requirements: Interested parties may submit inquiries regarding this EOI to [email protected] until 30th August 2026. No inquiries will be entertained after this date.

7. Right to Reject: The CMDA reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest and to cancel the procurement process at any stage without incurring any liability to the affected applicants.

8. Submission Format: All documents must be submitted in PDF format. Please use the subject line: "EOI Submission - [Name of Organization] - DTP Certification".
