Introduction: Bar Examination 2026

The Bar Council of Maldives (BCM) is seeking proposals from qualified psychometricians to evaluate the results of the 2026 Bar Exam. This consultancy seeks to ensure the validity and reliability of the assessment that conform with testing international industry standards.  

Scope of Work

Duties under the contract will include:

-          Psychometric Analysis of Bar Exam 2026 results:

• Conduct a psychometric analysis of 2026 Bar Exam results
• Evaluate the validity, reliability, item performance, and overall test structure.
• Submit a detailed final report with findings, statistical analyses, and recommendations. (The final report will follow a template shared by the BCM)

Evaluation Criteria

• Relevant academic qualifications and certification in psychometrics or related field
• Proven experience in conducting psychometric analyses of professional or high-stakes examinations

• Financial Proposal

• References from previous similar engagements

Terms of Engagement

Following the selection process and contract signing, the start date of the consultancy will be jointly determined by BCM and the successful bidder.
