Request for Expression of Interest

Admin and Finance Officer (individual) for the  project “Conservation of Atoll Ecosystems through an Effectively Managed National Protected Area Estate - CATENATE”

The Ministry of Climate Change, Environmnet and Energy has the funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards implementing the project “Conservation of Atoll Ecosystems through an Effectively Managed National Protected Area Estate”,and intends to apply part of the proceeds to recruit a Admin and Finance Officer for Project Management Unit, established in the Ministry of Climate Change, Environmnet and Energy. 

The Ministry of Climate Change, Environmnet and Energy invites interested eligible individuals to submit their application.

The details of the Eligibility criteria, Scope of work, Remuneration and Duration of Assignment can be found in the attached TOR of this announcement.

Submission Deadline

The expressions of interest must be submitted before 1200 hours (Maldivian time), 8 June 2026 to the email address [email protected]. Applications with all the supporting documents attached will only be accepted.

 Documents to be submitted

-           Curriculum Vitae (clearly stating the starting and ending month and year for previous experiences)

-           Copy of National ID Card

-           Accredited copies of Academic Certificates

-           Employment Verification Letter from previous employer(s)

-           Candidates currently working in the Civil Service should provide a letter of no objection from their current employer to release from the job. 

-           Applicants currently working in projects must provide a letter of no-objection from their project director.

Note: The Ministry has the discretion to refuse applications that do not fulfill the requirements. The Ministry also has the discretion to withdraw the announcement at any moment.
