The Government of the Maldives has received funding from the Government of the Republic of India for the implementation of the High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDP) program. The funding provided by the grant reflects the commitment of both governments to promote cultural development and support emerging artists in the Maldives. The Business Center Corporation, as one of the executing agencies of this grant, under the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development, seeks to provide a sustainable solution by establishing a dedicated space where artists can practice their craft.

As part of the implementation of this program, the Business Center Corporation intends to establish a Cultural Center at Maldives Polytechnic.
