MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma in relevant field (or)
  • A’Level/Certificate 4 in relevant field with minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.

 

OVERALL SCOPE

Support the implementation of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) initiatives under the guidance of the Supervisor, ensuring a safe, healthy, and legally compliant workplace across the organization.

 

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Support the planning, development, review, and implementation of OSH policies, procedures, and guidelines under the direction of the Supervisor.
  • Coordinate with the training function to organize and deliver OSH-related training programs for employees.
  • Assist in conducting in-house OSH awareness sessions and training.
  • Conduct OSH risk assessments and workplace inspections, and prepare reports with recommendations based on findings.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate workplace safety controls are implemented in line with applicable standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to employees.
  • Maintain accurate PPE inventory records to support timely replenishment and proper distribution.
  • Investigate, record, and report workplace accidents and work-related illnesses.
  • Prepare reports and maintain registers, records, and statistics in relation to the work.
  • Act as the organizational staff focal point on disability and workplace inclusion with the relevant stakeholders and agencies.
  • Support internal stakeholders on workplace inclusion matters by developing and implementing policies, procedures and awareness initiatives in collaboration with relevant authorities.

 

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health principles and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Knowledge of workplace accessibility and inclusion standards (desirable).
  • High attention to detail and strong observation skills.
  • Effective verbal communication and presentation ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

SALARY PACKAGE

Gross Salary of MVR 17,000.00
