Invitation for Proposal for the Development and Implementation of a Commercial Agriculture Project under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) Model on the Island of K.Kaashidhoo

The Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Welfare of the Republic of Maldives (hereinafter referred to as the “Ministry”) invites proposals from qualified national and international organizations, firms, or consortiums for the design, development, and implementation of a commercial agriculture project under a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model on the island of K.Kaashidhoo
This initiative is part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen national food security, promote sustainable agriculture, and enhance local livelihoods through innovative partnerships that leverage private sector investment and expertise. The selected Proponent will be expected to establish a climate-smart, commercially viable, and community-inclusive agricultural model that supports the broader National Food Security Program.
Interested proponents are invited to submit their proposals in accordance with the terms and requirements outlined in the Information Sheet and accompanying documents. The Ministry encourages proposals that integrate modern agricultural technologies, value addition, local employment creation, and capacity-building initiatives for farmers and youth.
Clarifications and Queries
Any requests for clarification or additional information must be submitted in writing to [email protected] before 1st March 2026, 13:00hrs. Clarifications will be shared with all interested proponents to ensure equal access to information.
Submission Deadline
Complete proposals (technical and financial) must be submitted electronically to [email protected] no later than 26th March 2026, 13:00 hrs (Maldives time). Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
