JOB VACANCY
Maldives Tourism Development Corporation Plc. (MTDC) invites enthusiastic and energetic Maldivians to apply for the following position.
1) POST: Plumber
WORK SITE: HDH. Naagaoshi Project Site.
Contract Period: 2 years
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipelines.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks, blockages, or system faults and carry out corrective actions.
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with safety standards and building regulations.
• Respond to urgent repair requests and support facility maintenance operations when needed.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in plumbing or completion of a recognized plumbing training program.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and operate plumbing tools effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
2) POST: Electrician
WORK SITE: HDH. Naagaoshi Project Site.
Contract Period: 2 years
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in company facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical faults, safety risks, or performance issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical work or completion of a certified electrical training program.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and operate electrical tools safely.
• Strong attention to safety, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
