Request for Expression of Interest for Project Engineer
The Ministry of Social and Family Development is implementing the Strengthening Gender Inclusive Initiatives (SGII) Project funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support the government of Maldives to strengthen gender-responsive processes, practices, and increase access to sustainable support services for elderly, children and survivors of DV/GBV at central and decentralized levels.
The objective of this assignment
The Ministry of Social and Family Development is seeking to hire a Project Engineer who will support the Project Management Unit (PMU) in coordinating, managing, and implementing the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Project on Strengthening Gender Inclusive Initiatives (SGII) in the Maldives.

Contract Duration and commencement
Successful candidates will be contracted for a period of 1 (one) year, with potential renewal of contract based on performance and organizational needs up to the total duration of the project. This contract is expected to commence in November 2025
Submission Deadline
The expressions of interest must be submitted via email to [email protected] no later than 1400 hours on 06th November 2025

i. Cover Letter for Expression of Interest
ii. Copy of National Identification Card
iii. CV including information that demonstrates that the candidate is qualified to undertake the scope of work.
iv. Copies of attested academic qualifications certificates accredited by Maldives Qualification Authority.
v. Reference letters from current and/or previous employers.
