Job Description
1. Credit Application Review:
- Review and analyse credit applications to assess risk and creditworthiness.
 - Place credit applications to the Credit Committee for decision, ensuring all relevant documentation are complete and in compliance with Shariah and internal credit policies.
 
2. Evaluation Process Oversight:
- Oversee the entire evaluation process of applications to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
 - Ensure that the technical sections of applications comply with established standards.
 - Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistency in credit assessments.
 
3. Application Evaluation and Disbursement:
- Review disbursements to ensure adherence to approved terms.
 - Counsel customers on policies and restrictions in line with HDFC credit underwriting guidelines.
 - Monitor credit facilities in grace and flag potential risks.
 
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain Grace Reports, CRIB reports, and monthly performance reports.
 - Contribute to the Annual Performance Report and other compliance-related documentation.
 
5. Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in existing credit evaluation procedures and suggest improvements.
 - Participate in the development of new products, credit policies and operational enhancements.
 - Support additional tasks as assigned by the line manager or department leadership.
 
Job Requirements & Other Competencies
- Diploma in Islamic Finance with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, Islamic banking, or a related field;
OR - Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Finance or a related discipline.
 - Work experience in credit analysis preferably within Islamic Banking or Finance will be an added advantage.
 - Good analytical and decision-making skills
 - Should be an effectual communicator verbally and through writing skills
 - Ability to work under pressure
 - Competent with General Office Software
 
Salary:Salary ranging from MVR 18,000 to MVR 20,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Working Hours: The selected candidate will be required to work from 08:00 to 16:00 hrs., from Sunday – Thursday.
