Reference is made to the Ministry’s Announcement number (IUL)88-LS/88/2025/331 (29th June 2025).

In line with the Government’s efforts to expand tourism in atolls where the sector remains under-developed, it has been decided to offer special concessions for a period of twenty-four (24) months to parties interested in developing tourist resorts in the following atolls; Haa Alif (HA), Haa Dhaalu (HDh), Shaviyani (Sh), Thaa (Th), Laamu (L), and Addu City (S).

Accordingly, please be informed that the announcement made by this Ministry under reference number (IUL)88-PS/88/2025/97 dated 31st March 2025, inviting bids for the development and operation of a tourist resort in the area designated for tourism development in Kelaa Lagoon, Haa Alif (HA) Atoll has been cancelled to re-announce it with these concessions.
