Post: Medical Consultant

Department: Medical and Empanelment 

Requirements

• Trained in specialist or super specialist field.
• Experienced as a medical or surgical practitioner in Maldives.
• Computer skills ( excel and word ).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities 

• Consultancy for Medical & Empanelment Department and implement medically related works of the medical team.
• Attend calls at all times from the medical team to clarify a procedure/treatment available or not available in the country.
• Provide technical support to medical team whenever needed in taking a decision in sending patients abroad for treatment or evacuating a patient from One Island to another.
• Attend monthly meetings with medical team staff to discuss challenging cases and advise on how to improve work, based on past experience.
• Attend meetings with the medical team staff for discussion of issues related to Medical & Empanelment Department. 

Remuneration: Negotiable
