Invitation for the submission of EOI for the Development and Operation of Nature Park on contractor own finance by Joint Venture with council, at Ha.Filladhoo.

Filladhoo Council hereby announces the investment opportunity for interested parties to undertake the Development and Operation of Nature Park Project on contractor own finance by joint venture with council, land allocated (Anex 1) at Ha.Filladhoo for Minimum 20 (Twenty) Years.

The Council now invites sealed Proposals from eligible bidders, local and foreign for the acquisition of the leasehold rights of the above. Eligible Bidders are;

1) Companies and Partnerships registered under the Act of 2014/18 At Ministry of Economic Development.

2) Sole proprietorship’s registered under the Act of 2014/19 At Ministry of Economic Development.

3) Foreign Investments registered under the Act of 2024/11 At Ministry of Economic Development.

The Area of land shall be leased for a period of 20 (Twenty) years and the Land shall be granted a maximum construction period of 18 (Eighteen) months from the date of signing on the lease agreement.

The Bidder is required to propose an amount of not less than MVR 250,000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousands Maldivian Rufiyaa) which shall be paid to the Council as the Security Deposit of the Land.

The Bidder is required to submit a bank guarantee as a bid security amounting to MVR 50,000 (Fifty Thousand Maldivian Rufiyaa), issued by a reputable financial institution approved by MMA or the relevant financial regulatory authority in the country of issuance.

For the Purchase of Bid Documents BID DOCUMENTS PURCHASE application form must be completed and submitted to the Council. The price of the Bidding Documents is MVR 1500 (Fifteen Hundred Maldivian Rufiyaa Only) and this payment is NON – REFUNDABLE.

Interested parties may obtain further information, inspect and purchase the Bidding Documents from 13th March 2025 up to the 20th March 2025, between 09:00hrs to 13:00 hrs, at the following address:

Sealed Proposals must be delivered before 11:00 hrs on Tuesday, 15th April 2025 to the Office of council or any other venue that the Council may announce. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the event at 11:05 hrs on Tuesday, 15th April 2025 at the office of the Council or at any other venue that the Council may announce.
