GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

1. The Ministry of Finance and Planning, on behalf of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure (MCHI) (the Employer), intends to develop housing units on 57 islands under the Public Housing Project.

2. The project will include design and build of more than 12,000 housing units in 57 islands as detailed in the Annex 1, through Open National Competitive Bidding and International Competitive Bidding process as stipulated in the Chapter 10 of the Public Finance Regulations (No: R158/2023) of the Maldives.

3. Interested bidders may opt for various financial model options for the categories as defined in Annex 2. Detailed information regarding the financial models and their application will be provided with the Specific Procurement Notices for the tenders under this project. Eligibility of National and International bidders are subject to contract categories as defined in Annex- 2.

4. Specific Procurement Notices for contracts subject to open National and International Competitive Bidding through a Pre-qualification process will be announced, during the month of February 2025, as they become available.
