Job Responsibilities

• Collect fuel consumption data from vessel and upload it to class portal continually throughout the year
• Coordinate with vessels to update, correction of errors on the on-fuel report to submit fuel report on class portal for verification and certification
• Obtain CoC for fuel consumption from flag state before due date each year
• Revise shipboard energy efficiency management plan when required
• Implement and monitor planned maintenance system of the fleet
• Implement a fleet management software and maintain it up to date
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound operation standard in compliance with company’s HSSEQ system of the fleet
• Evaluate and monitor the required reporting from the vessels, act as required and inform other office sections and external bodies as is relevant 
• Review monthly cost control and financial reports
• Prepare input for the annual budgets for the vessels
• Prepare annual and quarterly management reports for head of department’s approval
• Prepare docking reports

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electric engineering or electronic engineering or related engineering field
• Minimum 3 years work experience in marine / mechanical /electrical /electronic engineering field

Preferred Requirements

• Professional certification, such as Registered Professional Engineer, Fleet Management, Automotive and Diesel Technology or equivalent
