1.The Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development has received has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Equipment and Machinery for Automotive Workshops at Ha. Atoll Technical Institute (Ha. Dhidhdhoo).

2.The Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Equipment and Machinery for Automotive Workshop at Ha. Atoll Technical Institute (Ha. Dhidhdhoo) to be completed latest within 50 days after contract sign.

3.Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ms. Aishath Wazna Procurement Officer, Email: [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0800 – 1400 until 10^th February 2025 (Monday) at the address given below

5.The bidding document in English can be downloaded by interested Bidders from the gazette page free of charge as well as upon the submission of a written application to the address below.

6.Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 13^th February 2025 (Thursday) 11:00 Hours Maldivian Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 13^th February 2025 (Thursday) 11:00 Hours Maldivian Time.
