The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Transforming Fisheries Sector Management in South-West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under Consulting Services. The consulting services required is to hire a Consultancy Firm to “Conduct Economic Feasibility Study and Market Analysis for Aquaculture Species”.

 

The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources now invites eligible consultants to submit Expression of Interest. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

Required Documents

Interested parties must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications, experience, and responsiveness to this TOR:

 

  • Letter of expression of interest.
  • Company Registration certificate.
  • Company profile.
  • CVs of the proposed team members (along with educational certificates and individual reference letters for each proposed team member).
  • Evidence of firm/person capacity to meet the requirements stipulated in section 8.
  • A detailed list of similar assignments conducted as proof of evidence. Evidence may be reference letters / work completion letters as well as contracts successfully concluded as a firm.
  • Methodology, Sampling, Data collecting and analyzing methods.
  • Work Schedule and Financial Proposal.

 

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
