Re-tender for the Supply of 18 Circuit distribution Box (Complete)

• State Electric Company Ltd (STELCO) wishes to re-tender the Supply of 18 Circuit Distribution Box (Complete), tender ref no: H-2015/74B dated 08.06.2015 as the specification has been changed. This Invitation for Bid is open for both local and international Bidders.
• A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested and eligible Bidders from STELCO’s head office in Male’, from 14^th July 2015 to 29^th July 2015 between 10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs (9:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs on 28.07.2015 and 29.07.2015) on all working days, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD 100 or equivalent in Maldivian Rufiyaa in cash or telegraphic transfer directly to our head office. Overseas Bidders shall pay additional US$50.00 (United States Dollars Fifty only) if they require the documents to be delivered to their mailing address. Documents shall be issued from 15^th July 2015to29^th July 2015 between10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs(9:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs on 28.07.2015 and 29.07.2015) on all working days.
• Only Bidders who purchase the Bidding document can participate and thus the document is not transferable.
• The Bid Validity shall be minimum Fifty (50) days from the date of Bid opening. All Bids shall be accompanied with a Bid Security of MVR 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Rufiyaa) or equivalent in United States Dollar, which is valid for 20 days beyond the validity of the bid. The Performance Security shall be 15% of the Bid Price. Bid Security and Performance Security shall be either a bank guarantee letter (as per the format in the bid document), bank certified cheque or bank draft.
• A pre-bid meeting shall be held on Thursday, 30^th July 2015 at 11:30 hrs local time at STELCO Head Office, 2^nd Floor meeting room.
• All Bids shall reach STELCO head office on or before Thursday, 06^th August 2015, at 11:30 hrs.

• STELCO shall not be liablefor the misplacement or premature opening for the unlabeled sealed Bids.
• Bids shall be opened on Thursday, 06^th June 2015, at 11:30 hrs, at STELCO Head Office, 2^nd Floor meeting room, in the presence of those Bidders or Bidder’s representatives who wish to attend the session.
• Important Note: It is in STELCO’s discretion to reject/cancel any bid which does not fulfil or comply the above terms, at anytime during the bid evaluation process. Also it is in STELCO’s discretion to cancel this invitation to bid at any time.
