REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
(Project Number: TES/2024/C-004)
1. Ministry of Finance, on behalf of Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Development wishes to extend the Request for Expression of Interest, ref. number (IUL)13-K/13/2024/278 (1st December 2024) and invites interested international firms to submit their expressions of interest in providing Consultancy Services for the formulation of a 20-year National Development Plan.
2. The primary objective of this assignment is to outline and develop a comprehensive National Development Plan that addresses key economic, social, environmental, urban development and governance priorities for the sustainable growth and prosperity of the Maldives over the next 20 years. The plan should include mechanisms for effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the NDP.
3. Interested firms must provide specific information which demonstrates that they are fully qualified to perform the services (background of the proponent’s technical expertise, description of any similar assignments undertaken, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, value of those services etc.)
4. The Employer will prepare a short list of firms based on the Expression of Interest (EOI)’s and detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released to the shortlisted parties.
5. A more detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the project will be available on the Ministry’s website www.finance.gov.mv from 2nd December 2024. Interested firms may obtain further information by writing to the address below. It is the bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this Project.
6. Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) by 1400 hours (Local Time) on 7th January 2025.
