1. The Government of Maldives hasfinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives: Atoll Education Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Refurbishment of Jamaluddin School General Skill lab
2. The Ministry of Education now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Refurbishment of Jamaluddin School General Skill lab
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, November 2020 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. All Interested bidders are required to register via the Bid registration from Link: forms.moe.gov.mv, on or before 18:00 pm, 13th July 2024.
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Mohamed Manaan, S. Procurement Specialist, Email: [email protected] and inspect the Information document during office hours 0800 – 1300 until 16th July 2024.
6. Information session will be held onsite at Jamaluddin School on 14th July 2024 at 1100 Hours. Bids will not be accepted by those parties who do not attend this information session/site visit.
7. The information for bidders document in English can be downloaded by interested Bidders from the Gazette page.
8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on 17th July 2024 (Wednesday) 11:00 Hours. Late Bids will be rejected
