Request for Expression of Interest
Project Manager (individual) for the “Converting Waste to Energy in Addu City” Project
The Government of the Republic of Maldives receives loan funding from the AbuDhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) towards implementing the project “Converting Waste to Energy in Addu City”. The project is being implemented through the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy. The Ministry has created a separate Project Management Unit (PMU) for the implementation of the project and intends to recruit project staff who will be responsible for the overall project implementation achieving the project activities and supervision of consultants and contractors..
The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy invites interested eligible individuals to submit their application.

Schedule for the Assignment
Duration of this assignment is 05 (five) months from the date of commencement with a likely extension subject to the performance appraisal and project time extension by the funding agency. The successful candidate is expected to commence the services no later than 1 August 2024.
Remuneration
Successful individual will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee of MVR 32,000.

The expressions of interest must be submitted as soft copies only, by email at [email protected] no later than 1200 hours on 11th July 2024. Submissions must state the job title, address in the advertisement, and the submission deadline of the advertisement.

- Copies of Academic Certificates or transcripts
- Curriculum Vitae (clearly stating the starting and ending month for previous experiences)
- Copy of the National Identification Card
- Letters of experience
- Candidates currently working in the Civil Service should provide a letter of no objection from their current employer to release from the job.
