1.1 INTRODUCTION

Male’ Water and Sewerage Company Pvt Ltd. (MWSC) requests proposals from qualified contractors to carry out body repair, tinkering, and painting, and AC repair/Service of 13T Crane C2371

This request for proposal is an invitation to quote and does not constitute an offer MWSC to engage a quoter as the bidder of services. Any proposal submitted by a bidder shall be construed as an offer from that bidder.

The receipt by MWSC of a proposal from a bidder does not:

• Constitute acceptance of any proposal by MWSC or create a binding contract.
• Commit MWSC to make an award of a contract to any bidder, even if that bidder has complied with all of the requirements stated in this brief; or
• Limit MWSC’s right to negotiate with any other bidder (or other entity) in its best interests and at MWSC's sole direction.

1.2 SCOPE

• The Contractor would be responsible to carry out body repair, tinkering, and painting, and AC repair/Service of 13T Crane C2371 on the specified duration by the Contractor himself/herself.

• The detailed scope of work will be provided in the Pre-Bid Meeting
  • Arrange and conduct meetings and consultation sessions with MWSC, required for the duration of the project.
  • Quotation or cost proposal with detailed breakdown to carry out body repair, tinkering, and painting, and AC repair/Service of 13T Crane C2371 highlighted in the scope.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• The bidder (single firm, company, partnership, or other legal entity) shall be registered in the Republic of Maldives;
• The above must be fully supported by including all the following documents in the bidders’ proposal. Failure to include any will render the bidder ineligible and nonresponsive, leading to disqualification of the bid.

• Copy of Company Registration Certificate
• Company Profile Information sheet issued by the Ministry of Economic Development
• Copy of Bidders National Identity Card
• GST Registration Certificate
• MIRA Tax Clearance Report (past 6 months from the date of bid submission)
• Bid Form or RFP form (All sections completed, signed, and stamped)
