   We are currently seeking highly qualified Registered nurse to join our team.

Qualification

 

Bachelors’ degree or Diploma in Nursing/ Midwifery

 

Knowledge and skill requirement

  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow them to get to know their patients, build personal rapport and establish trust to provide high-quality care while increasing patients' enjoyment and comfort
  • Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently
  • Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments.
  • Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shot.
  • Experience in nursing field is an added advantage.

Basic Salary

9060 MVR

  • CS8-1 (Maldives Qualification Authority level 5 or 6 Diploma in Midwifery or Diploma in Nursing.)

9210 MVR

  • CS8-2 (Minimum 2 years’ experience in Registered Nurse Grade CS8-1 and above 85% marks in performance appraisal.)

9360 MVR

  • CS8-3 (Maldives Qualification Authority level 7 or 8 Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery or Diploma in Nursing.)

Food allowance

1800 MVR

Accommodation Allowance  

Where Ministry has its own accommodation, it will be Provided. In the event where accommodation is not available monthly allowance of MVR 3000 will be provided.

Service Allowance

MVR 188 per attending day.

Overtime pay

Per rate on hourly basis (Beyond 40 hours per week)

Place of Work

Home for People with Special Needs (HPSN) / K. Guraidhoo (Ministry of Social and Family Development)

Contract period

1 Year (Based on the performance contract will be extended)

 

Job Summary

  • Primary responsibility includes providing care to patients in HPSN based on their care plan outlined by the doctor
  • Resolving and revolving patients’ needs and issues,
  • Monitoring patients’ conditions and assess their vital signs, noting any physical or mental decline and reporting back to the doctor.
  • Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on the best treatment plan for patients.
  • Research ways to improve healthcare processes and improve patient outcomes.

  • Academic transcript
  • Passport copy
  • Test result of English language requirement.
  • Evidence of valid registration at nursing council/ board.
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • Certificate of good stating (Should be brought from the relevant council/ board of the country where the applicant is currently registered.
  • Reference from the most recent employer.
