INVITATION FOR BIDS (2^nd Advertisement)

Consultancy Service to Track Support for NDC Implementation

The Government of Maldives represented by the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy (MCCEE) has received funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards the implementation of the project “Capacity Strengthening for Improved Transparency of Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Actions in the Maldives (CBIT Maldives)” and intends to apply part of the proceeds for “Consultancy Service to Track Support for NDC Implementation”. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this consultancy.

As the bids received for the first announcement (no. (IUL)438-CCD/438/2023/480) dated 11^th October 2023 did not meet the requirements specified in the Terms of Reference (TOR), the Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this consultancy.

Bid Clarification

Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to  below given mail address on or before 9^th June 2024, at 1200 hours. Answers will be provided to all the queries received before the deadline and will be made available via the Ministry website (www.environment.gov.mv) on 10^th June 2024.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, before 10:00 AM Maldivian Time on 26^th June 2024. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 10:05AM on 26^th June 2024 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.

Proposals must be sealed and addressed as below

“Do not Open Before 26^th June 2024 at 1005hrs – “Consultancy Service to track support for NDC implementation – (IUL)438-CCD/438/2024/213” and the submitting party’s name and address
