Hire a vendor to conduct market research survey.

INTRODUCTION

Male’ Water and Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd. (MWSC) invites consulting firms to submit bids for conducting market surveys on products and services. The market survey will be required to assess consumer’s perception for new brands of products/services and media brand recognition.

 

The duration of the project is 82 days. Interested parties are requested to submit their bids.

 

  1. 1.      SCOPE AND TIMELINE

The bidders would be responsible to conduct two (2) market survey for new products/services and media brand recognitions. For these market survey, questionnaire required will be provided by MWSC. The detailed scope of work with timeline has been set out below.

  1. 1. Conduct Market Survey for Products/Services
  • Work plan and inception report: Including detail data collection plan, data analysis methods and final report submission and presentation.

 

  • Data collection & analysis: Data collection, entry and analysis using statistical tool in conformity to statistical standards and guidelines.

 

The final data and the analysis report submitted should include the raw data, including but not limited to a master contact list with details of the participants and their contact information.

 

 

  • The specific of the survey is as follows:
  • Method of survey: Telephone interviews
  • Sample Size: Minimum 1000 participants
  • Participants:Should comprise of good mix in terms of verity of profiles
    • Target Audience: The target audience is the local population. Stratify the sample proportionate to population in terms of gender, age and region of residence.
    • Number of Questions in the Questionnaire: 28 questions

 
  1. b.    2. Conduct Market Survey for media brand recognition
  • Work plan and inception report Including: detail data collection plan, data analysis methods and final report submission and presentation.

 

  • Data collection & analysis: Data collection, entry, cleaning, and analysis using statistical tool in conformity to statistical standards and guidelines.

 

  • Present findings and final report submission: The report shall include concise summary of survey findings, main observations, methodology and data collection, limitations, and recommendations.  

 

  • The final report submitted should include the raw data, including but not limited to a master contact list with details of the participants and their contact information.
  • The specific of the survey is as follows:
  • Method of survey: Telephone interviews
  • Sample Size: Minimum 384 participants.
  • Participants:Should comprise of good mix in terms of verity of profiles
    • Target Audience: The locals living in Greater Male’ region who uses internet and social media platforms.

The project timeline listed below is an estimate only. MWSC reserves the right to revise any project dates as needed.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any single firm, company, partnership, or other legal entity registered in the Republic of Maldives.
  • Mandatory Documents mentioned the RFP documents.
  • The above must be fully supported by including all the following mandatory documents in the bidders’ proposal. Failure to include any, will render the bidder ineligible and nonresponsive, leading to disqualification of the bid.

 

    • Copy of Company Registration Certificate
    • Company Profile Information sheet issued by the Ministry of Economic Development
    • Copy of National Identification Card
    • GST Registration Certificate
    • RFP Form Form A, Form B, & Form C (completed, signed, and stamped)
    • Bill of Material and Requirements (as per the RFP)
