The Secretariat of Fiyoaree Council (“hereinafter referred to as the “Council”) invites eligible investors (local or foreign) to register their interest within 10 (ten) days by submitting letter to express their interest to design, development, operation, and Management of Tourism Facility and Agricultural Land in Gdh. Fiyoaree Tourism and Agricultural Land Zone. (Annex (I) Island  – A & Island - B)

ISLAND - A

1. Land in Villigilaa Island - 41200 Square meters (SQM) for Tourism
2. Land in Villigilaa Island - 57800 Square meters (SQM) for Agriculture

ISLAND - B

1. Land in Ukruhutta Island - 18000 Square meters (SQM) for Tourism
2. Land in Ukruhutta Island - 21400 Square meters (SQM) for Agriculture

Composition of the letter:

1. Letter of interest indicating:

Details of the individual or company or consortium including individual or company profile including Name, title address, email address, and telephone number.

1. The requesting individual or company must accept to pay the rent after signing the agreement.

Date of Closure for Receipt of Expression of Interest:

1. The Date of Closure for submission of EOI is 30^th April 2024, at 1330 hours.

Information session for interested EOI Parties

Hence, interested parties may attend an online information session that will be organized by the Secretariat of Fiyoaree Council, Huvadhoo Atoll, Republic of Maldives, on 2^nd May 2024, at 1330 hours.

Evaluation Process

Upon receipt of the expression of interest, a preliminary evaluation based on the background and capacity of the parties will be conducted by the Secretariat of Fiyoaree Council. If the Secretariat of Fiyoaree Council decides to proceed with the design, development, operation, and management of the Tourism facility and Agricultural land with the nominated EOI proponents, the opportunity to submit the proposals (bid application) shall be issued.

The Bid Documents can be obtained from the Secretariat of the Fiyoaree Council. The Bid Documents will be available to purchase from 2^nd May 2024, at 1330 hours.

Submission Date and Place

The Bid application submission to the Secretariat of Fiyoaree Council on 15^th May 2024, at 1330 hours.
