1. Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd (“the Employer”) wishes to re-open the registration period for the invitation for bids number (MWSC-L/3/ADV/2024/15) and invites sealed bids from local & International eligible and qualified bidders for the Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of a 5000TPD RO Plant - Hulhumale’, under Contractor Finance.

2. Open Competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with Single Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries.

3. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

• Minimum average annual turnover of MVR 15 million or USD 1,000,000.00 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years.
• Successful completion as main supplier within the last 5 years, of at least two (02) contracts each valued at MVR 10 million or USD 800,000 with similar nature to the scope of supply.

4. Interested Bidders shall register with the MWSC, from 17^th April 2024 to 20^th April 2024 by submitting bid registration form to [email protected] (Cc: [email protected] / [email protected] with the following information.

• E-mail address and Telephone numbers of the Contact Person(s)

6. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of MVR 400,000 (Four Hundred Thousand Maldivian Rufiyaa) or equivalent in USD) for the project. The Bid security shall be valid for 28 days beyond the original validity period of the Bid.

7. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the email address in Clause 10 of this invitation for bids on or before 11:00:00 hrs Maldives Time on Thursday, 25^th April 2024.

8. Deliver your bid:

• to the address specified in the clause 10 of this invitation for bids
• on or before 11:00:00 hrs Maldives Time on 09^th May 2024
• together with the bid security as described in the clause 6 of this invitation for bids

9. Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Male’ Water and Sewerage Company Pvt. Ltd at the address specified in Clause 10 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 11:00:00 hrs Maldives Time on 09^th May 2024, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
