• Ability to work longer hours.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Required

• Operate ferry vessels safely, following established routes and maritime regulations.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during boarding, transit, and disembarkation.
• Conduct routine checks on vessel systems, equipment, and engines to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, such as adverse weather conditions or mechanical failures.
• Navigate vessels using navigational tools, charts, and GPS systems while considering factors like tides, currents, and weather conditions.
• Provide friendly and courteous service to passengers, addressing inquiries and assisting with boarding and disembarkation.
• Adhere to maritime laws, regulations, and safety protocols set by relevant authorities.
• Maintain communication with the shore, other vessels, and relevant authorities using radio or other communication equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of voyages, including departure and arrival times, passenger counts, and any incidents that occur.
• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure smooth operation of the vessel and passenger satisfaction.
