1. The Republic of Maldives has received financing from the High Commission of India and the Government of Maldives toward the cost of the Construction of ADh.Dhangethi Cultural Center and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of ADh.Dhangethi Cultural Center. A brief description of the project scope is attached as Annex: I

2. The Government of the Maldives/ Council of ADh.Dhangethi now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of ADh.Dhangethi Cultural Center.

3. Bidding will be conducted through competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the Government of the Maldives “Procurement Regulations”, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Mohamed Musthausim Billah, Secretary General of the Council, Secretariat of the South Ari Atoll Dhangethi Council, email: [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 08:00-14:00 hrs. at the address as mentioned.

5. Pre-bid meeting will be held on 06^th March 2024 at 13:00 hrs at the address specified below. All interested bidders are required to join the pre-bid meeting and the site visit in order to be an eligible bidder.

6. The bidding document in English may be collected by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to tender. [email protected].

7. The bidding document could be purchased for MVR1500 from Dhangethi Council.

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 15^th April 2024 at 13:00 hrs. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 15^th April 2024 at 13:00 hrs.

9. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as below:
