(One-Envelope Bidding Process)

The Ministry of Education has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives Atolls Education Development Project – AEDP (P177768), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward the contract for Procurement of STEM Learning Equipment for Schools in the Central Atolls.

1. The announcement number (IUL)22-E/22/2023/428 published on 11^th November 2023 was cancelled due to changes of information in the Bidding Document.
2. The Ministry of Education of the Maldives now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders to deliver the goods within 35 days (earliest delivery date) of contract signing.
3. Bidding will be conducted through International competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, November 2020 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information by writing to [email protected], and inspect the bidding document before 03^rd March 2024, 14:00 Maldives Time.
5. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 04^th March 2024, 11:00 Maldives Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 04^th March 2024, 11:00 Maldives Time. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MVR 30,000.00. (Thirty Thousand) USD 1958.56 (One thousand nine hundred fifty-eight and fifty-six hundredths)
