- The Government of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives; Atolls Education Development Project (AEDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
- The consulting services (“the Services”) includes all the tasks related to the STEM Education Facilitator (Consultant). The duration of the assignment is for a period of 03 months.
- The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below.
- The Ministry of Education now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
5. The selection criteria are:
- Diploma or higher in computer science, software engineering or a similar major.
- Experience in python or other high-level programming languages.
- Certification of completion of Micro: bit PD online courses from microbit.thinkific.com
- Familiar with physical computing devices such as Micro:bit or Arduino.
6. Interested individuals should submit the following documents:

- Educational Certificates and Reference Letters

7. A Consultant will be selected based on the EOI Evaluation and Interview Process, in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
