Salary  

  • Represent the organization in courts and tribunals.
  • Conduct research and analysis of the organization’s legal issues.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
  • Prepare and file legal documents (eg.  appeals, contracts, deeds)
  • prepare and manage legal documentation.
  • Conducting research, factual investigations, reviewing and maintaining case files and safe custody of confidential documents.
  • Ensure the company is updates with the most recent changes to the laws and regulations of the Maldives and align company policies and regulations and inform the management of any changes to the operational requirements.
  • Attending the administrative requirements of the corporate department and other responsibilities set by the head of department.
  • Support the team by being a leader and take initiative targeting to achieve the strategic action plan of Company Secretariat.
  • Follow and implement the mandate of the company secretariat according to the policy and procedures.
  • Support the company secretary/ General Manager, company secretariate with achieving the department goals and objectives and work with other relevant departments and sites to achieve a high level of performance.
  • Fluent communication skills both Dhivehi and English, excellent organizer, efficient time management and people management skills.
  • Effectively prioritize and execute legal tasks in a dynamic environment and should be a person of high integrity, ethical and moral standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in law (MNQF level 7) with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the field, along with practicing license.
