Responsibilities

• Support the CEO with achieving the Company goals and objectives and work with the departments and sites to achieve high level of performance.
• Manage and delegate the work within the mandate of the department according to the policy and procedures.
• Production and implement, in association with site production management, improvements to existing production processes and advise management on ways of making production process more efficient by maintain industry standards and using latest production technologies to maintain good manufacturing practices.
• Reviewing production schedules in association with production sites and help planning and organizing the schedules.
• Assessing project and resource requirements.
• Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
• Ensure quality control standards are maintained at all levels of production processes.
• Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
• Direct , assist and monitor purchasing of production related materials.
• Ensure a comprehensive repair and maintenance system is in place at all levels of production process and monitor closely if the system is being followed.
• Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
• Identify and organize relevant training sessions in liaison with human resources management.
• Working with relevant departments and top management to inspect and ensure the maintenance work of buildings and other assets of the Company are met on a timely basis.
• Visit sites according to requirements and oversee the facility management functions at the sites.
• Visit sites according to requirements and oversee all of the operations at the sites.
• Create and manage the department budget and manage all purchase requirements within the set policies and procedures of the Company.
• Support the department staff and be an exemplary team leader.
• Identify areas of development of the department staff and manage the training requirements and manage the performance of staff.  

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Degree with MNQF level 7 or above in Business Management or relevant field; AND minimum 5 years of experience in senior level position in a related field.
• Fluent communication skills, excellent organizer, efficient time management and people management skills.
•  Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment and should be a person of high integrity, ethical and moral standards
