The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team and the board of directors.

Position Overview

The CHRO report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the executive leadership team

Reporting Relationship

 

(a)    A Master’s Degree or equivalent professional certification (MNQF level 9) in the field of human resource management or business administration, with 8 years of professional work experience at managerial level in a related field.

(b)    A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional certification (MNQF level 7) in the field of human resource management or business administration, with 10 years of professional work experience at managerial level in a related field.

Requirements

  1. a.       Strategic HR Leadership
  • Develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Provide guidance to the executive team on human capital management and organizational development.
  1. b.      Talent Acquisition and Management
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Develop and implement effective talent management and succession planning strategies.
  1. c.       Employee Relations
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and manage employee relations issues.
  • Implement policies and procedures that promote fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
  1. d.      Training and Development
  • Identify training needs and facilitate the development of training programs.
  • Support career development initiatives and provide opportunities for employee growth.
  1. e.       Compensation and Benefits
  • Lead the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  1. f.        Performance Management
  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Dhivehi and English language is essential.
