Re-announcement: Submit Proposal to Procure Air Quality Monitoring Equipment
The bids submitted for our announcements MNU-CA-PRC/2014/46 and MNU-CA-PRC/2015/64, are much higher than the budgeted amount in our research project. Hence, we would like annul the previous bid and announce for a second round inviting vendors to submit proposals.
The Postgraduate Research Centre of The Maldives National University is looking for vendors to supply equipment for an air pollution monitoring project that is being undertaken by the Centre in collaboration with the Maldives Climate Observatory, Hanimaadhoo. This research project is being undertaken with funding from the University Research Grant. The technical requirements of the equipment, the proposal submission process, the vendor selection criteria and timelines are outlined below.
Equipment and Specifications
This invitation for proposals is to provide the following equipment
- 2 High volume air samplers
- 2 Automatic weather stations
- 1 Desiccator
- 1 Analytical balance
The technical specifications of the equipment are provided in Annex 1. Please fill the column Proponent’s specifications and submit with the proposal.
Proposal Submission and Evaluation
A thorough and methodical evaluation of competing vendors will be carried out. All potential vendors should provide the following documents for evaluation
- A detailed volume covering all matters related to pricing, discounts, warranties, commercial incentives, or other offers of a commercial nature or that may be considered proprietary
- Completed proponent’s technical specifications as in Annex 1.
- Booklets, brochures, leaflets or other materials which give information on the equipment and shows that they meet the technical specifications
- A profile of the vendor
All submissions must be made in electronic format (pdf) and/or hard copy to the following address before 2.00 pm on 6th April 2015.
