INVITATION FOR TENDER
REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF 7 OLDER TANKS FROM K. FUNADHOO TERMINAL
State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer the opportunity to submit proposals for repair of above ground storage tank at K. Funadhoo terminal.
1. Project Overview
i. Dismantling and removal of 7 (Seven) above-ground storage tank (AST) and its foundation along with the disposal of the same from K. Funadhoo Fuel Terminal.
ii. The disassembled metal from the tanks to be taken at market rate for scrap metals by the tenderer.
2. The Eligible Tenderers are limited to;
2.1 Parties who have completed at least 2 (two) similar nature project (construction/removal of above ground vertical storage tanks) of value MVR 1,500,000 (one million five hundred thousand rufiyaa) and above in the past 5 (five) years, as the main contractor. Subcontracted projects shall not be considered.
2.2 Completed works should include majority of the scope of works stated in the section 2.1, similar nature project (construction/removal of above ground vertical storage tanks).
3. Experience of the proponent will be validated by:
3.1 Reference letter/completion certificates or any documentation in the name of the Companies/Government Entities/Institutions/Commission etc. (any legal or government entity)
3.2 The tenderer shall submit the Project Data Sheet annexed in this tender notice with all the required details.
3.3 To assist in the assessment and eligibility of the bidder, STO may, at STO’s discretion, ask any proponent to submit any documents (including and not limited to some mandatory documents) for clarification and verification.

Registration and Bid Document: |

Deadline for Registration is 16th November 2023, 11:00hrs. ONLY Eligible Tenderers can register and participate in the tender. A complete set of Bidding Document in English shall be sent via email on, 16th November 2023, only to the parties who have successfully registered under the tender. |

Information session: |
Mandatory information session shall be held at site on 18th November 2023, 09:30hrs (departure in front of Shell Beans). Please note that the personals should come with PPE (Helmet, full body protection and Safety Shoes) |

Questions and Replies: |
Questions shall be type-written in English, and shall be sent via email, on or before 20th November 2023, 11:00hrs, to the address specified below. Replies to questions will be given on theof 22nd November 2023, to all those who have successfully registered under this tender. |

Tender Submission: |
Documents shall be emailed to [email protected] [NOT LATER than 27th November 2023 at 11:00hrs.] Submissions received after deadline shall be rejected. |
