Request for Proposal

Recruitment of a consultant to undertake MAPS' Midline Survey

Background

The Government of Maldives (GoM) through the Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture (MoFMRA) is initiating the implementation of the Maldives Agriculture Program (MAP) with the support of International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD). The Programme is be managed by the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) set-up within the MoFMRA in accordance to the guidelines provided by the design report, implementation manual and under the guidance of the project steering committee and IFAD supervision missions.

The main aim of MAP is to enable small farmers in the Program area to sustainably enhance their production levels, increased income, secured food and nutrition for their household demands and deliver produce to connected markets.

In this regard, The MAP Project Implementation Unit is seeking to contract a Service Provider (Firm or an Individual Consultant) to undertake MAP's Midline Survey.  The MAP Project Implementation Unit now invites sealed proposals from eligible and qualified parties for this project.

Submission Deadline

Hardcopies of applications (in English) must be submitted in person to the address given below no later than 1400 hours on 20^th November 2023, with the following documents.

• Cover Letter – Expression of Interest
• Detailed Curriculum Vitae(s)
• Accredited Academic
• Reference Letter(s) –from similar consultancies undertaken
• Technical Proposal (submit in separately sealed and closed envelope)
• Financial proposal (submit in separately sealed and closed envelope)
• Tax clearance report (for firms) (within last 3 months)
• GST registration certificate copy (for those required to register for GST)
• Business registration certificate copy (for firms)

Late Proposals will not be accepted. Proposals will be opened at 1400 hours on 20^th October 2023, at Ministry’s Project Implementation Unit, (5^th Floor, Hazaarumage, Fareedhee Magu) Meeting room, in the presence of applicants or their representatives who wish to attend the bid opening.
