INVITATION FOR BIDS (2^nd Advertisement)

The Government of Maldives represented by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MECCT) has received funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards the implementation of the project “Capacity Strengthening for Improved Transparency of Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Actions in the Maldives (CBIT Maldives)” and intends to apply part of the proceeds for “Consultancy Service to Conduct Emission Factor Study”.

As no bids were received for the first announcement (no. (IUL)438-CCD/438/2023/400 dated 15^th August 2023), the The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this consultancy.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology’s website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Clarification

Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to  below given mail address on or before 08^th October 2023, at 1200 hours. Answers will be provided to all the queries received before the deadline and will be made available via the Ministry website (www.environment.gov.mv) on 10^th October 2023.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, before 10:30 AM Maldivian Time on 16^th October 2023. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 10:30AM on 16^th October 2023 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.

Proposals must be sealed and addressed as below

“Do not Open Before 16th October at 1030hrs – “Consultancy Service to Conduct Emission Factor Study – (IUL)438-CCD/438/2023/463” and the submitting party’s name and address
