INVITATION FOR BIDS

Consultancy for Climate Risk Assessment and Adaptation Support

The Government of Maldives represented by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MECCT) has received funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards the implementation of the project “Capacity Strengthening for Improved Transparency of Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Actions in the Maldives (CBIT Maldives)” and intends to apply part of the proceeds for “Consultancy for Climate Risk Assessment and Adaptation Support”. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this consultancy.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology’s website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Clarification

Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to  below given mail address on or before 18^th Sep 2023, at 1200 hours. Answers will be provided to all the queries received before the deadline and will be made available via the Ministry website (www.environment.gov.mv) on 20^th September 2023.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, before 10:00 AM Maldivian Time on 08^th October 2023. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 10:05AM on 08^th October 2023 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.

Proposals must be sealed and addressed as below

“Do not Open Before 08^th October at 1005hrs – “Consultancy for Climate Risk Assessment and Adaptation Support – (IUL)438-CCD/438/2023/439” and the submitting party’s name and address
