Seeking an event organizing party to provide meeting hall with all the required facilities including catering services.

Invitation for Bids

Maldives Meteorological Service (MMS) in collaboration with World Meteorological Organization ( WMO ) is making arrangements to conduct its first National Climate Outlook Forum in Male’, Maldives, on 28 & 29 April 2015. It is estimated about 55 participants will attend the forum. In order to make the forum a success, Maldives Meteorological Service decided to seek assistance from an event organizing party to provide meeting hall with all the required facilities including catering services. 

A compulsory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for the interested parties at 1100hrs on 1^st March 2015, Sunday, at Maldives Meteorological Service, Hulhule’. Only the parties that attend the Pre-bid meeting will be allowed to submit Bids. Sealed bids in compliance with the details and requirements stated in the Terms of Reference ( ToR) shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and must be delivered to the address below on 1100hrs of 8^th March 2015, Sunday. ToR will be provided during the Pre-Bid Meeting. Late bids will be rejected.

The Offers from each Bidder will be opened at sharp 1100hrs of 8^th March 2015, Sunday, at Maldives Meteorological Service in the presence of Bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.

A Technical Evaluation followed by a Financial Evaluation of the bids will be performed after which the Agency Tender Committee of Ministry of Environment and Energy will deliberate and finalize the award.
